Starting Mayble’s

After graduating from college, I wasn’t really sure where my path would take me. I had multiple “careers” I thought would be perfect for me, and honestly, not once did I think of graphic designing or social media marketing. I wanted to plan weddings or be a journalist; I know, two totally different jobs, but I was young and ready to start my journey, whatever that may be.

My first job out of college was working at a local newspaper. Not the most glamorous job but it was a start. It was only by luck or fate, some would say that I had the only computer in the building that had a design program. Typically the turn around to get an ad designed for my clients could take days, sometimes even a week, and I hated that my clients had to wait that long for a proof, so I taught myself. I taught myself how to use that program and how to design my clients advertisements from start to finish. Overtime, I fell in love with graphic designing and knew I had found my niche.

After that, I purchased my first MacBook and ran with it! Now, with that being over 11 years ago, I have grown individually and professionally and found my rightful place in the industry. I have made a career out of graphic designing, marketing and social media management. I love what I do and I love helping my clients grow their business.
